Wooden sauna originates from Finland where it has been used for 2000 years and because of its therapeutic and healing influence its use has spread all over the world. Finnish sauna is often called dry sauna due to hot and dry air.
Successive, multiple exposures to heat and cold is an excellent training for blood-vascular system. Sauna, with its effects, is undoubtedly preventive in case of respiratory diseases, which require its regular use once to twice a week.
Sauning increases perspiration and it is the best possible way for cleaning pores, thus accelerating skin regeneration.
Furthermore, sauna quickens the lymph circulation and it is beneficial to fighting cellulite and rheumatic diseases.
Depending on the temperature of the booth and additional equipment saunas are divided in:
- traditional: temperature 85-110°C and humidity 15%
- biosauna: temperature 60-65°C and humidity 30-40% with the addition of aromas and herbs
- light sauna: with the addition of light effects with colors or so called chromotherapy
- mediteranian: interior is made of old wood with a fireplace around the stove
